Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By creating a SurakshaCard account, ordering a card, or subscribing to document access, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

The service

SurakshaCard is an emergency medical ID: a physical card with a QR code showing essential emergency information (name, blood group, known conditions, emergency contact) to anyone who scans it, plus a PIN-protected profile for your full medical history and documents, shareable with people you trust.

SurakshaCard is an information aid, not a medical device or medical service, and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment or emergency services. In a true emergency, call your local emergency number first.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an owner account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including for any profiles you create on behalf of a family member or dependent, and for keeping your login PIN and any document-access PINs you share confidential.

Ordering and payment

The physical card is a one-time purchase; document access is a yearly subscription per profile bundle. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and payments are processed by our third-party payment processor — we never see or store your card/UPI/bank details.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy — at this time, card orders and document subscriptions are non-refundable.

Lost or damaged cards

If your physical card is lost or damaged, email surakshacardsupport@gmail.com and our support team will help you with a replacement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to create fraudulent profiles, impersonate someone else, or use the QR code or PIN system to gain unauthorized access to another person's medical information.

Service availability

We aim to keep SurakshaCard available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurakshaCard is not liable for any harm arising from reliance on information displayed via the service, from a third party's actions after accessing shared information, or from the unavailability of the service, including in a medical emergency.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing surakshacardsupport@gmail.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of SurakshaCard after a change means you accept the updated terms.
